Welcome to The Insectarium. 

My name is Nat McIntyre and I am a printmaker and art lecturer from rural Cambridgeshire. I am very excited to launch this shop, which is where you will find my handmade prints inspired by insects, celebrating their inherent beauty. 

I primarily make limited edition, reduction linocut prints, produced by hand in my home studio using traditional techniques and artist quality materials. 

I studied an MFA in printmaking at the Slade School of Fine Art between 1997 - 1999 and have been teaching art for 20 years. It is only since lockdown that I have explored relief printing in my work, through the subject matter which to continues to fascinate me - insects. 

I am very concerned about our dwindling biodiversity and no insects were harmed in the making of this work.
